Spent the weekend with my New Camera (Rebel XT). I took about 400 pictures, and got a little sunburned. I put 2 new pictures up (eyes right), and will be adding more this week.

I'm still learning the camera, but it's lots of fun!

I bought tickets to Wicked, the musical. For September.

I read the book- the musical looks pretty good.

So, a few days ago I went to feed Pinchy (our crab) and there, at the bottom of the tank, was his little shell.

Immobile.

Eyeless.

Mike and I decided that this weekend we would clean out the tank, and restart it – and buy new fish. So, tonight I went to clean out the tank and there, proudly sporting a new shell, was Pinchy back from the dead (his old shell still lying on the bottom of the tank lifeless).

Against all common sense, I have bought tickets to Star Wars III for sunday. Have to see this thing through.

Which brings up a joke Mike told me.

Darth vader to Luke: I know what you're getting for your birthday.
Luke: Did you peek?
Darth: No, I felt your presence. (Presents).

So, there we are. If the movie is bad, Mike can tell joke...

If you’re looking for an off-beat, touching, and action-filled movie – Kung-Fu-Hustle was worth the price of admission. While certainly violent, it was far less violent than Kill Bill and that ilk. In fact, with the exception of first scene, most of the violence is the poetic fighting Ala Hidden Dragon.

One of the best movies I’ve seen in a while.

Mom’s trip went well, I think. We went place to place, ate some decent food, and fed seals dolphins and pet a wayward stingray. I have pictures, but they will have to wait until after finals.
