Fox - Franken Update
A little bit of news on the Fox vs Franken lawsuit. First of all I saw on TalkLeft that Paul Newman has a small op-edin the NY Times about the whole thing.
Also, CNN reported the Penguin Publishing, in addition to ordering 40,000 more books, is pushing up the release date to possibly the end of THIS WEEK!
I know that Fox (IE O'Reilly ) has said in the lawsuit that Franken is neither a journalist nor a television news personality. He is not a well-respected voice in American politics; rather, he appears to be shrill and unstable. His views lack any serious depth or insight.
So, in the spirit of a fair and balanced posting, I thought I'd offer all of you a taste of both authors.
Al Franken's Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot (I couldn't get an excerpt of Lies)
"Limbaugh was railing about how feminists believe that all heterosexual sex is rape. The thing is, though, I know a lot of women, all most all of them who consider themselves feminists, and I know of only one who actually holds this belief. And we've been married nearly twenty years"
Bill O'Reilly's The O'Reilly Factor: The Good, the Bad, and the Completely Ridiculous in American Life
"The O'Reilly Factor. Copyright (c) 2000 by Bill O'Reilly. All Rights Reserved."
So, there you have it. You decide!
