Moore on God and the Law

CNN has a story which suggests that, barring any legal changes, the monument will be removed Friday.

The important part of the article, however, falls at the very end, regardling the pending lawsuit filed.

They argued that removing the monument would amount to a government endorsement of a "religion of non-theistic beliefs," according to the complaint.

Why do I think the Fox lawyers helped them with this one. Removing the monument endorses a religion of non-religion? (Got to love that twist of logic). Do they really think any court in it's right mind (Moore's state of mind, being questionable), is going to say that it's okay to endorse the Judeo-Christian belief system? That's what they're arguing.

This is not about personal belief - it's about the abuse of an elected state position in order to promote a religious doctrine. Period.
