Sullivan. Pundit.
Andy says it's all over for Clark. His [Clark's] performance last night was too bad to go on AND he refused to distance himself from Michael Moore. That sound you hear is probably Clark packing his things, and headed out of NH.
His complete vacuousness in the face of Brit Hume's recitation of his Times of London piece celebrating the Iraq war was stunning. And his inability to distance himself from the vile Michael Moore's comments was, to my mind, definitive of his attempt to be all things to all people. His slow drift down in the polls might now accelerate. At least I hope so
Of course, Moore (while admittingly over-stating) is right that Bush did not complete his obligations to the Guard. I thought Clark handled this well in the debate. Pity he has to go.
Who did Andy think performed the best? LIEBERMAN! (I guess, from the eyes of a Republican, that makes sense. )
