VP is fair game. Mary isn't.

As my recent post in today's press briefing shows, I think that it's reasonable and, indeed, important that we press Dick Cheney about how he can support an anti-gay agenda, knowing full well that he has a gay child.

However, the opposite is not true. Mary Cheney is not in politics (working on her fathers campaign doesn't count), and has no need to answer anything.

Besides, the question that you have to ask Dick is why he is choosing politics over his family. Mary would be the opposite - why is she choosing family over politics - and I think that answer is self evident.

Because they're family.
