Stupid is as Stupid does. Sir.
So, does this mean Bush has to go back and get releases from anyone who appears in any of the 9-11 footage they use in his ads, in case they don't want to be seen as implicitly endorsing him?
Oh no, it's better than that.
But even the men who are not in the ad have a right to demand the picture not be used, said Alvin A. Horne, a Houston attorney who served on a swift boat in Vietnam in 1969-1970. He is giving legal advice to the group. Eleven of the 20 men in the picture oppose their images being used in the campaign ad, he said.
Ahhh, even those not in the picture has a right to sue. Presumably, because they were vets in the same area of service with Kerry and therefore have a right to determine whether or not he can use an image in which he appears in ads.
Why is this group even getting press time? Oh, that's right - they're a non-partisan group only looking out for the welfare of... well... someone.
There maybe no 'R' on your dog tags, but there's a big fat 'R' on your forehead.
Someone let me know when their 15 minutes are up....
