Rejection

There's a lot of it wandering around the News this morning. Joe Lieberman rejected the whitehouse twice on suggestions he become the next homeland Security Guru. Say what you want about Joe, but he's no Zell Miller who apparently couldn't reject an offer from Fox, who can now claim more balance by having a Democrat on the ticket. (Maybe he can keep Alan Colmes company). Anyway, the Dover Area School District (PA) has rejected teaching evolution in their curriculum. And, apparently, rejected any consideration for the beliefs of Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims or other 'competing' faiths and views. After spending millions of dollars to get them together, the US Missile Defense Shield has rejected an order to come out of its silo. The important thing is if at first you fail, spend, spend again. Speaking of not following orders, it turns out that Uber conservative Judith Regan was the one who rejected ex-homeland security candidate Bernie Kerik after finding out he had made his wife pregnant. Hey, it wouldn't be like her to reject the conservative values of not continuing to sleep with your married lover, once his wife is knocked up.

For, who would think of the children?
