What to do with the Catholic Church?
They are denying a gay man who ran gay bars a funeral. They claim the denial is not because he was gay, but because he ran bars or some other stuff.
Generic Disclaimer: Catholic Churches are religious entities and, as such, under our constitution are free to deny anyone they wish the ability to have a funeral, or any other sacrament, simply because they want to.
That said, the only reason they a denying a funeral is because he's gay, which is incredibly hypocritical. The CC regularly give funerals to people who have killed, and molested, and stolen - things far worse than running gay bars.
But gays are an easy and lucrative target these days.

Yep, just paint a big multi colored target on their back, it's a free for all. How many funerials for child molesters have been performed?

I don't have an exact count. Here's one. I'm sure there are others.
