High court close to overturning Roe?

The Supreme Court stepped in to block a federal court ruling which ordered state prison officials to transport a woman inmate to a facility so she could get an abortion.

At the edges, this is essentially a question of whether or not prison officials can stop an inmate from getting an abortion. It is possible, however, for the court to take the opportunity to review and overturn the Roe decision as part of it’s analysis, as Roe was part of the reasoning the federal judge used in ordering the transport.
