Come on

I’m no big fan of Jim ‘I’m not Gay’ West, but is this really news? West’s problem is not that he was gay, but that he was using his position to get sex. So he visited Gay.com. So he looked at profiles. So they were mostly young men. Who cares?

Heck, I don’t even care if he was browsing porno or visiting chat rooms. (Yes, I know that it was a state computer, but come on. This is not the stuff to be worried about). If he traded power/money for sex, then he should be investigated. If he downloaded illegal porn, then he should be investigated. If he trolled for teenagers (The under-18 kind), he should be investigated.

Just visiting gay.com is not a crime. It’s not even all that titillating. Why the big announcement about it?
