Before the reports on Sharon, CNN reported that the Supreme Court has ordered Padilla transferred to a civilian jail. The implication of this could most likely be that the court will not hear the Padilla case, as the transfer could render the controversy moot.

Both stories are important. One for the future of peace in the mkiddle east, the other with freedoms here at home.
