God help me
PFOX and the “Christian” law firm Liberty Counsel have developed a tolerance test for kids in public school to take.
Essentially, the test involves setting up a ‘Gay to Straight’ club, then demanding to offer the ex-gay perspective at ‘diversity days’. If you’re denied, then you get Liberty Counsel to sue the school for you.
They even include a helpful ‘statistics’ brochure which include helpful tidbits of science like:
Acting out on same-sex attractions also has devastating psychological effects, including increased drug and alcohol abuse.
I’d be curious to know how Liberty Counsel would deal with a school that denied the creation of a gay to straight club on the same grounds that they deny gay-straight alliances.
