GSA goes to town council looking for a Gay Day proclamation. Are denied, and later told by councilman to find “opportunities to be recognized for what you do, not what you are”.
The council, eventually, back tracked and gave a proclamation. After San Francisco and San Jose made semi-heroes out of the GSA members.
