Skating rink settles gay handhold case

The two guys were not a couple, but were practicing for the gay games. The settlement includes diversity training, a monthly ‘gay’ night, as well as free admission to the pair for a year.

Antigay treatment. In ice skating. What were they thinking?

I'm all for ending discrimination, don't get me wrong, but all the requirements put on the company there is more than a bit extreme.

It was a settlement. The company agreed to it, because they feel they would have done worse if they went to trial. So, it’s not really ‘imposed’ on them.

And, really, none of it seems overly draconian.
