Will Powell abandon the Republicans?

I was watching Fox News Sunday this morning, and the Swifting of Powell over his letter is in full swing. The discussion around Powell was that he was distancing himself from Bush, though had been a team player when he was in the administration.

Brett Hume vigorously disagreed. Powell presided over a state department in ‘full rebellion with the president’, said Hume. Also, according to Hume, Powell knew who leaked Plame’s name, and didn’t tell the president, or anyone, and left Rove and Libby ‘twisting in the wind’.

Will Powell continue to play the good soldier, or will he take affront to his party taking pot shots.
