Evangelicals vs. The Religious Right

I’m probably one of the worst offenders, but it is nice to be reminded that there is a difference. Not all evangelicals fall in lock step with the Dobsons and Perkins’.

That said, the leadership seems pretty exclusively members of the RR. If Evangelicals don’t want to be seen as the ‘narrow right’, they need to stop the people who speak for them from portraying them as such.

If you listen to Dobson / Perkins / Falwells, there is no dissention in the evangelical ranks. They all speak with one voice and one heart, and vote with one mind.
