Of Law and Typewriters

This is, in my opinion, an absolutely foolish lawsuit.

That said, good typing skills absolutely can get you better grades in law School. However, typing skills alone won’t do it, and not having good typing skills is not a bar to doing well.

I’m a three finger typist (though, very fast with the three). However, I make a lot of typos when I type and, during exams, I have to spend time I could use to develop analysis proofreading and correcting.

Someone who types well, will have more time, which they can use to add more to their essay.

At best, though, it’s a half-letter grade difference. If you’re getting Cs and Ds in Law school, here’s a hint: It’s not the typing...
