Gotta love conservatives. On one hand they fall over themselves to point out Coulter was poking fun at ‘Political correctness’ not gays, on the other they find all the listings of when Liberals (quote, unquote) use the word ‘Faggot’ without so much of a whimper from other liberals.

Let’s talk about KOS. First of all, the examples posted by the author link to the diaries of Kos, not Kos’s stuff itself. And, if you search all of Kos, for the past 5 years, and include both Stories and Diaries, there are 300+ entries with the word Faggot. The vast majority are critical of people who used the word.

And even those not using faggot as a quote, when you click through, the posts (for the most part) are not using faggot in the same way Ann did (which you can’t tell from the “article”, because rather than actually link to the example, they posted screenshots).

Here are the actual links used as examples in the story:

Democrats and the Faggot Problem: A posting which criticizes two Dems for supporting neither gay marriage nor civil unions. Faggot, obviously, being used sarcastically.

When Is A Faggot Just a Bundle of Sticks?: A posting which is critical of too many sly gay jokes on Kos.’

Who invited the little faggot?”: This is the only post of the example which might actually be using ‘Faggot’ like Ann. The problem is that, the whole post is incoherent and, as I read it, seems to be an anti Kerry rant. (That’s another problem using Kos, while most of the people there are liberals, not all are).
