The GOP’s Savior
“The American people believe English should be the official language of the government. ... We should replace bilingual education with immersion in English so people learn the common language of the country and they learn the language of prosperity, not the language of living in a ghetto,”
Anyone who looks into this knows that the Anglicization rates for 1st and second generations are incredibly high. And, while Spanish speakers is the target today, this has been attempted in the past, because of the Japanese, Greeks, Irish, and just about every other non-english speaking groups who immigrate to our county in significant numbers.
