Therein lies the difference

Did you ever wonder whether or not you need to have a child at war to understand the sacrifice of those who are sent to war? Well, it turns out the deciding factor is whether or not you are (or were) a friend of the Administration.

3 Months ago, the White House Skewered Boxer for suggesting that Rice couldn’t fully appreciate the sacrifice of those who send sons/daughters to war (because she had none).

Today, in trying to explain away Matt Dowd change of heart on Bush, they suggested that it was due to his son being sent, and that they could only imagine what that must be like.
