I Get Letters
The FRC sent me on this morning, on hate crimes.
This bill creates a caste system within American society where those who fit a certain category - ranging from race, disability, gender to sexual orientation and transgendered - would be seen as deserving special legal protection. The bill is most notable for the millions of Americans it leaves out, meaning if you or I are a victim of a violent crime - we matter less.
Hmmmm, something seem off. It’s like that left something out. What is could it be?
Oh right, Religion. The Bill also protects religion (as do current laws). Funny they would leave that out, as important as religion is to them. Maybe it’s included in the ‘to’ between Gender and Sexual Orientation. That must be it – it fits alphabetically.
I mean, they wouldn’t have left it out on purpose.
