This annoys me.

Let’s assume, just for a moment, that everything he says is true. That the items in question belonged to him, and he was just ‘getting them back’. Does this give him the right to break into a hotel room, with two other thugs, and just take them?

If you believe someone has one of your possessions, you call the police. Then you deal with the courts. You don’t ‘help yourself’ to the items.

I don’t understand why he wasn’t arrested earlier.
