McPain-ful

You can tell what happened here. Someone in the McCain camp thought they came up with a great line in response to the Gay Adoption mine field McCain set-up. They thought that it would help McCain avoid saying what he really thinks (gay adoption is bad or gay adoption is good), and will seem like a nice nod to the conservative lot.

However, McCain wasn’t really deft at wielding the line, and so rather than a nice tag line, he looks like a kindergartener trying to avoid admitting it was he who was eating the paste.
