Shorter GP: Since we don’t expect anything from Republicans, if they don’t mention gay people, that’s okay. However, if Obama doesn’t mention it, then he’s worse than Republicans on Gay issue. You know, because we expect positive gay thoughts from Democrats.

This is a favorite line of gay conservatives. Beat up the Democrat, because they’re supposed to be pro-gay, but forgive the Republican, because (I guess) they can’t help being anti-gay.

In 2006, Obama got an 89% from the HRC. Biden got a 78%.

McCain? He got a 33% - and that was before his move to the right.

Update: Obama did mention same-sex couples. WIll McCain (other than to attack us)?
