New MasterCard Commercial

Have you heard the new ‘priceless’ commercial from MasterCard? The one with ‘improv’ regarding fish? And then the tag line: Getting the dish on your dish…priceless!

I hate this commercial. I change the station now when it comes on, because it so infuriates me. It's stupid. It makes no sense – who wants stand up (and bad standup, I might add) about food? And how is this even remotely priceless? Sure, if there was a tie-in, with a comedy tour or some such, I might be willing to buy it. But there isn't. The ‘priceless’ ad campaign was really brilliant – and there are endless possibilities for it - are you really out of good ideas?

Firing whoever approved this ad? Priceless.

’tearing up’ over political speech

Can we all get over ourselves? Recently, I’ve been exposed to folks on both sides who claim to have ‘teared’ up when they heard this speech or that speech. Really? I mean, REALLY? And lets say you were so emotionally unstable attached to your candidate that you did tear up (as opposed to claiming you teared up, in a desperate attempt to suggest your candidate is the only real choice), please – keep it to yourself.

It’s a little creepy.

Why am I still required to pay $20 for a USB wall charger? There is maybe $3 worth of materials inside.
