I’m a PC
Thank you Microsoft for retiring the Seinfeld/Gates commercials as they were - inexplicable.
The new ‘I’m a PC’ commercial was inspired – very smart and a good response to the MAC ads. (Of course, maybe fixing Vista would be a better way to generate business – but that’s just me).

The idea of doing an "I'm a PC" commercial is excellent, but what they came up with offers no value proposition for it's product. Apple's "I'm a Mac" commercials offer what "Mac" has that "PC" doesn't. This new MS commercial suggests that "PC" isn't only the 70s suit wearing accountant, but it doesn't really go on to say what a PC really IS.

I agree, though I think they tried to - the collection of people were meant to suggest that anyone can be a PC - but they didn't (and won't) come near to what Apple has done with the Apple brand.
But it is a step in the right direction.
