More GP Nuttiness:

GayPatriot links to a clip with GOP VP hopeful talking about her ‘gay friend’.

GPWest was proud that Palin didn’t abandon her friend when she found out she was gay (talk about low expectations) – but that’s not the nuttiness. In his post, GPWest states that he didn’t agree with Palin that her gay friend ‘made a choice’ to be gay.

Then GP added a comment that, basedc on his watch of the clip, Palin meant not that her friend made a choice to be gay, but rather that Palinw as talking about a choice to come out, to which GPWest agreed.

Here, though, is what Palin said:

I am not going to judge Americans and the choices they make in their relationships... she [the gay friend] is one of my best friends who happened to make a choice that is not a choice I would have made.

Point to where Palin even hints she is talking about the choice to come out. GP’s comments, though, are full of people who swear that when their straight friends talk about people ‘choosing’ to be gay, they mean choosing to ‘come out’.

Does this make any sense? Does GP really want us to think that when people talk about ‘choosing’ to be gay, they really mean choosing to be out? And even if that’s true, Palin is saying that she wouldn’t have chosen to share that she was gay with anyone, if she was gay(Ie, not a choice I would have made?

So, there you are. Palin is inclusive and gay-firendly because she still talks to her gay friend, even though her gay friend ‘chose’ to come out which Plain wouldn’t have done if she was gay.

Note: I worte this last week, but didn't have time to publish until today.
