My partner Mike and our Parrot. I can't decide if this shot would have been better if the parrot was in focus.

I think the parrot being out of focus is ok but this image might have been better if there'd been a bit more light. I'm looking at this on our kids computer (which doesn't have a calibrated monitor) and it's eye is a little hard to make out. On the whole though, I think this is a great idea for a shot.

Yes, it is a little dark. I try to avoid using a flash, because I'm not very good with them. I need to practice more.

Or get a studio. :)
