This is my entry for the Photo Friday challenge : Tacky. It was taken at the 2004 pride parade in San Francisco (which was the first parade I had been to since moving out to SF in 2001).

This is what I call a good ‘almost’ shot. I was balancing on a chair to get over people’s heads and shooting from shadow to a bright sun area, with a strong shadow background. I think I got the exposure pretty well I think(maybe a bit dark). The problem was timing. I didn’t quite get him centered and that lady’s face on his right side is distracting.
